Shari Arison established the Awareness Communication Center at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, through The Ted Arison Family Foundation. The focus of this unique institution, the first of its kind in Israel, is the study of values-based communication leadership.

With moral commitment as the cornerstone on which positive reporting can be forged, the center emphesizes the importance of empowerment, responsibility, and authenticity in the media world. The center collaborates with students studying communication, computer sciences and psychology, while also involving top-tier media personalities and the industry in general.
